Every teacher holds at least a music conservatoire degree (RCM, GSMD, RNCM, Trinity Laban) and a recognised teaching qualification or equivalent ABRSM mentoring credential. All are DBS-checked and have current safeguarding training. Most are also working performers.
Yes, to all of them. Around 60 percent of our students sit graded exams. We enter directly with ABRSM and Trinity, prepare for GCSE and A-level performance, composition and aural across the major boards, and mentor conservatoire audition repertoire.
One-to-one lessons start at £45 for 30 minutes, £85 for an hour, billed termly in advance. Conservatoire-level coaching with senior staff is from £120 an hour. Sibling and pre-pay term discounts available. Means-tested bursaries are offered each September.
Yes, for advanced students in central locations, the senior teaching team travels for £25 visit on top of the hourly rate. The studio rooms are usually preferred because of the practice instruments, the recording capacity and the lack of household interruptions.
