Terms of Service

Arcane Web is a trading name of Arcane Analytics Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16872620). Registered office: 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Contact: hello@arcaneweb.co.uk.

A one-off setup fee of £275 buys: discovery, design, build, domain configuration, and launch of a bespoke website for your business.

A monthly fee of £30 buys ongoing care: hosting on our infrastructure, SSL, monitoring, daily backups, security updates, your lead dashboard, built-in analytics, and one free change request per calendar quarter.

You are entitled to one free change per calendar quarter (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). A "change" is a copy update, photo swap, or service-list tweak that takes us less than an hour and does not alter the page layout.

Additional changes in the same quarter are billed at £50 each. Design-level changes (a new page, redesigned section, new colour scheme, or major rewrite) are billed at £200 each. The change-request form in your dashboard tells you which tier any request falls into before you submit it.

Your domain. Your domain name (e.g. yourbusiness.co.uk) is registered in your name with a third-party registrar (typically Cloudflare or Namecheap). You own it outright. We help you buy it but never hold it in our name.

Your leads. Every form submission captured on your site is stored in your dashboard and downloadable as CSV at any time, including after cancellation.

Your content. Text and photos you supply remain yours. Logos and brand assets remain yours. You retain a perpetual right to the content we produce on your behalf.

The website itself (code, deployment configuration, database, and hosting stack) remains the property of Arcane Analytics Ltd. This is what allows us to offer bespoke work at the £275 price. You are licensed to use the live site for as long as you maintain the monthly subscription.

You may cancel the monthly subscription at any time from your dashboard, with no notice period and no exit fee. On cancellation, the live website is taken offline. Your domain and your lead data remain with you. We do not provide a portable copy of the website code or hosting configuration.

We commit to: a live site within 7 days of intake sign-off; 99% uptime on the hosted service; secure data handling per UK GDPR; honest pricing without hidden fees.

If we fall materially short, you may cancel without notice and receive a refund of the last monthly charge.

You agree to provide accurate intake information, respond to revision requests within reasonable timeframes during the build week, and ensure your business and any content you supply comply with UK law. You will not use the site to promote illegal goods or services.

[Standard limitation-of-liability wording to be drafted by a UK solicitor.] The principle: our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the total fees you paid us in that period.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
